1. Who we are
This website at pamojo.com.ng is run by Pamojo Errands for Diaspora, trading as Pamojo, a business registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria and based in Lagos, Nigeria ("Pamojo", "we", "us"). You can contact us at hello@pamojo.com.ng.
2. What these terms cover
These terms apply when you visit the website, talk to the Pamojo Concierge, create or use a Pamojo account, or open a link we send you. They do not cover the errands themselves. Each errand is governed by our Client Service Agreement and the Job Agreement you sign for that errand, which you will see before you pay anything. If these terms and a signed agreement differ, the signed agreement applies to that errand.
3. Using the website
You may use the website to learn about our services, request errands and manage your account. You agree not to:
- give false information about yourself or the people and places involved in an errand;
- ask us to do anything illegal, harmful, or that would put anyone at risk;
- try to gain access to accounts, data or systems that are not yours;
- use automated tools to scrape, overload or interfere with the website;
- upload anything that infringes someone else’s rights or contains malicious code.
We may suspend or close access to anyone who breaks these rules.
4. The Pamojo Concierge
The concierge is an AI assistant that helps you describe your errand and gathers the details we need. It is clearly identified as an AI assistant. Estimates it gives are guides only. A price is only binding once Pamojo has confirmed it in a quote and you have accepted it in a signed Job Agreement. You can ask to speak to a person at any time.
5. Your account
You sign in with a one-time code sent to your WhatsApp or email. Keep access to that phone and inbox secure, because anyone who can read the code can enter your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
6. Quotes and payments
Quotes are in Nigerian naira. Any amounts shown in other currencies are approximate and for information only. Payments are processed by Paystack, and later by PayPal where offered. We never see or store your full card details. Card payments are also subject to the terms of the payment provider and your card issuer.
7. Content on the website
The words, design, logos, photographs and videos on this website belong to Pamojo or are used under licence. You may view and share pages for personal use. You may not copy, sell or republish our content without written permission. Some photographs and videos are stock media licensed from third parties and do not show Pamojo clients.
8. Guides and information
Our guides give general information to help you plan. They are not legal, financial, medical or professional advice. For decisions such as buying land, speak to a qualified lawyer, surveyor or other professional.
9. Links to other websites
We may link to other websites, such as Paystack or WhatsApp. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
10. Availability
We work to keep the website available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or withdraw parts of the website at any time.
11. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Nigerian consumer protection law, including the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018, or our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, we are not responsible for losses caused by your use of the website that we could not reasonably have foreseen, or for business losses. Our responsibility for errands is set out in the Client Service Agreement.
12. Complaints
If something goes wrong, tell us at hello@pamojo.com.ng. We will acknowledge your complaint within two working days and aim to resolve it within ten working days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change affects you significantly, we will tell you before it applies to your account.
14. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute that cannot be settled by talking to us will be heard by the courts of Lagos State, unless the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring a claim there.
