1. How payment works
- Errands that involve buying things or paying others (for example food packages, shopping, repairs or events): you pay 70% of the quote to start, and the remaining 30% after we have sent you the proof.
- Fee-only errands (for example visits, property checks and verification reports): you pay 100% up front, because the price cannot change.
- Ongoing arrangements (for example monthly property checks or site visits): billed monthly in advance.
The final payment is due within three days of the proof being sent to you.
2. When prices change during an errand
If the cost of items rises after your quote, we may go ahead without asking when the total increase is less than 10% of the purchase total or ₦5,000, whichever is higher. The difference is added to your final payment. Above that limit, we ask you first. If we do not hear from you within six daytime hours in your time zone, we hold that item and carry on with the rest of the errand.
3. Money left over
If we spend less than quoted, the difference is taken off your final payment. If you have already paid in full, it becomes Pamojo credit or is refunded to your card, whichever you choose.
4. Cancelling an errand
- Before anything has been bought or booked: a full refund of what you have paid, minus the card processing fee charged to us.
- After buying or booking has started: a refund of the money not yet spent, minus a fee for the work already done, which we will explain in writing. Items already bought can be delivered as planned, delivered elsewhere, or held for you for up to 14 days.
- Fee-only errands: a full refund, minus the card fee, if you cancel before the visit or work has started. After a visit has taken place, the fee is not refundable, and you will receive the report.
- Ongoing arrangements: cancel at any time before the next monthly payment. The current month is not refundable once visits for that month have started.
5. Money paid to others on your behalf
Deposits paid to hotels, airlines, event vendors, contractors or others follow those businesses’ own refund rules. We will tell you what these are before paying, and we will help you recover what can be recovered.
6. If something goes wrong
If an errand was not done as agreed, or proof shows a problem, tell us within seven days of receiving the proof. We will investigate and, where we are at fault, put it right by redoing the work, giving a partial refund or giving a full refund, depending on what happened.
7. How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Paystack or PayPal, usually within 10 working days of approval. Your bank may take longer to show the money.
8. Your legal rights
This policy does not affect your rights under Nigerian consumer protection law.
